The Solar System is a planetary system located within the Milky Way galaxy. It contains eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. In addition to the planets, the Solar System also includes the Sun, moons, asteroids, comets, and many other celestial objects.
